Minor Student Consent Policy

Consent requirements for students under 18 and under 13.

Why consent matters

FuturePath Intelligence™ is designed for parents and guardians to support students under 18. Because student profiles may include personal information, we require a parent or legal guardian to provide consent before a student account is created or used. Students age 18 or older can create and manage their own account without parent or guardian consent.

Students ages 13 to 17

For students between 13 and 17 years old, a parent or legal guardian must review the consent information and confirm that they understand the platform's educational purpose, data practices, and their own responsibility to verify information.

Students under 13

For children under 13, we require verifiable parental consent before any student information is collected. Parents must actively affirm that they are the child's legal guardian and that they consent to the limited collection of educational planning information. We do not knowingly collect more data than is necessary for the platform to function.

Parent and guardian rights

Parents and guardians have the right to:

  • Review the information collected about their student.
  • Correct or delete inaccurate information.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Request that a student account be closed.

Withdrawing consent

You can withdraw or update consent at any time in the Settings page or by contacting us at support@theresourceologist.com. Withdrawing consent may limit access to student-specific features.
